It’s A Woman’s World at Wilde in March
It’s a woman’s world at Wilde Wine Bar and Restaurant and this month, the cozy female-owned Hancock Park wine spot is getting even more female-friendly as it celebrates Women’s History Month.
Kicking off this Tuesday, March 8th, with a special International Women’s Day edition of its networking event series “Wilde Wonder Women“, each patron will receive a complimentary glass of bubbly and cupcakes from neighboring bakery Susie Cakes (also female-owned!) and mix and mingle with fellow “wonder women” and a few wallspace artists whose work currently adorns the walls at Wilde (four of whom are women). Guests can also enter their business card in a drawing to win prizes such as:
- 1-hour Financial coaching session from Lisa Vallejo – Financial Services Professional, New York Life
- 1-hour Tarot card reading by Natalie Vartanian – CPCC, ACC, Life Coach, Love Expert & Tarot Maven (value $150)
- A bottle of wine by one of Wilde’s female winemakers
- A dozen cupcakes from Susie Cakes La Brea
Additionally, on March 9, the popular La Brea wine bar — named for Lady Wilde, Oscar Wilde’s mother, who was a suffragette and pioneer in women’s rights — the “Wilde Wine Wednesdays” event series will showcase wines by female winemakers from all over the world — a perfect event for a girls’ night out or romantic date to toast the amazing women in your life.
Many of our fabulous wines are by female winemakers so what better time to pay respect than Women’s History Month! This Wednesday, March 9th we will be pouring wines by female wine-makers from around the world. We are especially excited to have winery owner Challen Cates of Challen Winery pouring her elegant & delicious Pinot Noir, Scarlett.
